The song we used at our wedding was Alison Krauss and Union Station's "When You Say Nothing at All." This really says so much about today's voice. I have known Lorrie for, well, forever, because she is my cousin. But to me, she is so much more than that. We transcended past the kid table at holidays to friends with similar personalities, experiences, husbands and children. Where I hid my writing for years, Lorrie wondered about her art. I envy her gift, she admires mine. She was so gracious to share her work today, I know she did not have to.
Each of these is a painting. I say that because the award is so realistic I thought it was a picture.
Do me a favor---all the voices this month have been outstanding, but if you like this silent voice, if you will, will you leave a comment here? Let's raise our voice in support of the artist willing to lend her pictures to speak volumes today. Thanks Lorrie!

What beautiful pictures these are! Speaking as one who can barely color within the lines, I'm amazed at people who have such talent. Thanks for sharing. ~ Tracy

Love the artwork,Lorrie! I especially like the Snow Day and Crab Hunters. It is obvious that those three boys are a loved subject...your voice speaks loud and clear and it is kind of you to share those intimate moments! The boys are also lucky to have such concrete memories of their childhood! Thank you for sharing your gift!
