Tuesday Toot:: Real Pictures!

I write this as the Democratic debate is on an hour away from me in Cleveland. As they keep saying, the area is getting a good storm. Although it varies, if Cleveland gets snow, we usually aren't ignored either. It was yet another snow day today and when we headed outside to play I thought hey, I should take pictures.

That's always a good idea, but lately my ideas often stay that way, especially with pictures. I grab the camera and lo and behold, they were robbed of batteries to feed a Wii remote or a MP3 player. One day there were hundreds of icicles on our back deck siding and I was drooling to get a picture. No batteries.

When the batteries are rarely returned back to the camera, they are returned dead. That's killed a lot of my plans to capture winter events this year.

Today, there was victory. I remembered the camera. There were batteries. There were live batteries that worked. It was fun.

In the scheme of life, maybe not a big deal but it's my toot and I have the pictures to prove it!

What was your accomplishment today? Join the fun by clicking on the Toot graphic at the top of this post.

Reminder---starting March 1 I'm tackling the revised NaBloProMo. The challenge for March is blogging each day that month with the theme of lists. If you've visited my "little sister" blog http://surrenderedscribesachieveablethings.blogspot.com/ you know I love lists. If you have ideas of lists you'd like to see, let me know! Let's make this interactive.

Oh, and the second picture is my son being dramatic after working on a snow fort. I couldn't resist e mailing it to family and friends with the label "Apparently hard work will kill you just like kids say!"

Have a great day! Thanks for reading.

Oh sis! I'm so glad to have found a fellow christian blogger. Thanks for the visit!

The kids sure looks like they are having a great time! My aunt used to live in Cleveland. She said winter lasts for 10 months a year in Ohio. I haven't seen snow yet, that must be so much fun. :-)

Thank You for your comment! Your blog looks so interesting! I struggle with people pleasing as well! I have to surrender my life on a daily basis to live to please the Lord and not worry about what others think of me! This is so difficult for me to do!
